13 members of our car club stopped for lunch 11/16/22 @ 12:45 each separate orders. Fast service, great food.

Always a great place to stop in to on your way through the canyon, location is great for working guys because it has a gas station and a hardware store in the same spot.

Best Elk burger I've ever eaten. This place is one of Oregons oldest and rarest gens tucked away in a rural town right off the highway. You can't miss it. And you'll want to sit a spell. Staff is genuinely nice and the food is to die for. Locals are pretty friendly too. Like going to grandma's house when she was alive way back when. Definitely worth the stop. Highly recommended.

We stopped here on our way home from a backpacking trip into the Jefferson wilderness area. All we ordered were root beer milkshakes, which were delicious.

Others we were with ordered burgers, fries and onion rings, all of which were met with ravenous approval. It's hard to say if we'd feel the same way if we hadn't been eating freeze dried meals for the past 4 days. We all agreed we should go back again to confirm!

Always love your gingerbread and ice cream and all the other things on your menu. You have been a super asset to the community! Sorry to hear that you are selling your business, but, pray that those who buy it from you will carry on the tradition of incredible service and food to the surrounding community and those who visit the river! If I could do a six star rating I would. This rural treasure features exactly what it sounds like, sweets and excellent desserts. My personal draw however is the burgers. The patties are a heaping 1/3 pound each. The meat is local and always the highest quality. The bison burger is fantastic.
