El Jefe Birria & Tacos

Really good food and sauce. Cool looking shop and nice people. Bomb breakfast burritos!! The rice has peppers and onion very nice twist.

I’m originally from the L.A. area and it’s been difficult finding delicious authentic Mexican food. El Jefe is by far the closest I have found! I had their Birria Mulitas and my partner had Birria queso tacos and we just raved to one another how authentically delicious and appreciated all of the fresh ingredients. We both had the cucumber and lemon drink and this, too, was made with fresh ingredients. I can’t rave enough about how delicious and flavorful their food is. We will definitely be back and bringing family and friends!

Had the California burrito.
It was filled with lots of great flavors.
The dining area was nice and clean.
The price for my burrito was a bit high but it had quality ingredients, I hope?

I’ve picked up food three or four times from El Jefe, and have had it delivered probably the same number of times. I just discovered this restaurant about 6 months ago.
Top notch food, hands down. The flavor of the food is put together wonderfully. I always order the steak and it’s seasoned and cooked perfectly.
One takeout trip I ordered a taco plate for my wife, and I asked for no onions. A good number of spots mix their onions and cilantro together. If you order no onions, you also get no cilantro. That did not happen at El Jefe. The attention to detail with their food is great, and their food tastes even better!
The restaurant is clean, bright, and very welcoming. The folks working there I’ve interacted with are very friendly and nice.
Thanks for being in our neighborhood El Jefe, and I look forward to my next visit there!

I got a vegetarian burrito, it was large and had a lot of flavor. The salsa I tried we’re also good. I’ve only tried a few places in the area so far but this one was the best I’ve had as of today.
