Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I needed a last minute catering order on a busy Saturday. The Manager Michelle and her staff were absolutely wonderful putting together the order. I have had very different experiences in the past with this Popeyes location, and was hesitant to try again. I hope that the much appreciated efforts go noticed.

I had a good experience here. When I entered, it only took 4 minutes to get to order my food. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. It took another 3.5 minutes for my food to be ready. Oddly, I was never asked if I wanted it to go or dine-in and it came to go. Not much of a problem.

Their diet soda selection is a bit like Ford in its early days. You can have any diet soda as long as it's Diet Coke. OK ????.

I enjoyed my spicy chicken sandwich as it was crispy but still had a nice juicy inside. Not bad for a quick serve meal.

Reading other reviews, I didn't seem to experience quite the wait at 2 PM. They do seem like they are short staffed though which a rush of people could quickly overwhelm the staff.

The wait at 3pm was about 20 min for our take out food and after we left, we realized we aren't given any utensils for the Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich was good, large, a lot of fried breading. Fried chicken isn't my favorite but I could see how someone who likes fried chicken could really like the sandwich, it's huge, juicy and lots of "fried." Canjun fries were tasty and the large really was large. Biggest complaint really is the wait and lack of utensils.
