I’ve been going here for years and every time it’s amazing. Best Chinese food in Gresham!! The dining room is big and homey, cute little salt water fish tank kids love. Super decent prices! BEST chow mein!
I went in today and we ordered so much food the table was covered and they made it a hassle free experience working so fast. A+

Best Chinese food in Gresham; and the best hot and sour soup I’ve had anywhere. Four Treasures, Sweet and Sour, Lemon Chicken, you can’t go wrong.

My family used to come here regularly before I was born and continued to do so my entire childhood. The food and service is truly amazing and I have NEVER had a better egg drop soup.
Now, 22 years later, I live in Reno NV and make special trips back to Gresham just to eat here. I’m actually going this month! ( See you guys October 21st!)

I recommend this restaurant to everyone that enjoys Chinese food. I can say confidently that Szechuan Open Kitchen is the best Chinese restaurant I have, or probably ever will go to.

When you first enter you are amazed at the size of the dining room! It's large but not so much that you lose that family feel. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive to your needs. And the food is AMAZINGLY AWESOME!!! It's done in a traditional style which is flavorful and makes you feel like a member of their family!!

We go here often and they do a great job providing gluten-free entrees. Usually the food is at least pretty good or better. This time, for some reason, I'd rate it good but not great. It seemed bland - orange chicken was good, but the egg plant, broccoli chicken and cashew chicken was only so-so. It was a surprise, given how good their food usually is. We'll go again sometime, but no hurry
