I was able to try a few different things off the menu and all were incredible. the chips and two dipping sauces were spectacular. The brisket slider was great. The corn fritters was super tasty and cooked perfectly. It had a little spice and great flavor. The smoked beets were really cool and interesting. I'm glad they're doing something creative for the vegans instead of riding the trend train of jackfruit BBQ. The service was great and they use reusable stuff also. I'm digging the creativity and passion. Top notch all the way around
This guy is working hard for sure! Enjoyed the ribs and brisket. The smoked beets were adventurous and worth a try but I'd go with regular beets next time. The fritter started out great but did not quite cook through. A lot of plates moving This evening so timing may be off but will give it another go next time.
Bonus for using reusable trays instead of throwaways!
I had a slider with brisket and a fritter. The brisket had nice Smokey profile and was tender, veggies were fresh, and the pickles seemed homemade, although it is served on a fairly generic bun. My fritter (unlike a previous reviewer) was warm all the way through. I would probably just write off the previous guy’s fritter experience to being a startup learning curve. The fritter is good if you like corn (it’s full of it)- I’m not a huge fan of corn personally, but I feel like my wife would have enjoyed it as she does like corn. Overall a solid small meal to wash down with my beer. Also happy to have a decent American BBQ place near home.
