Alouette

Food was very good. It's quite a bit more expensive than you might conclude looking at the menu (dishes are very small). The waiter asked several times whether "everything was delicious" which is a yes/no question that is kind of hard to answer. I would prefer an open ended question like "how is everything?".

Lastly, a number of the dishes were substantially over salted. Bordering on difficult to eat. We asked for subsequent dishes to not have salt added at the end (after cooking) but even though it was another 10 minutes before those dishes came they were unable to accommodate the request.

Dined with a large group so we decided to try one of everything on the menu. So many delicious choices! The cocktails and wine selection were excellent - knowledgeable staff helped us choose the perfect pairings. The atmosphere was lovely, the design was modern and tasteful, wonderful place to spend your evening!

The small plates were rich, incredibly delicious, and added up to a full dinner in no time. Four dishes between the two of us worked out to what felt like a very full meal without being too expensive. Great wine list, and our server was fun and able to guide us through it to glasses we really liked. Overall a great spot I definitely want to come back to!

We were so excited to try a new restaurant in our neighborhood. Overall we had a great time, everything was tasty. Our favorite dishes were the tuna crudo, the scalloped potatoes and the steak. Cocktails were good and the atmosphere was nice, although the space is small so you may need a reservation if your going during a busy time. Everything on the menu is small plates, and small portions so you will need to order accordingly. We ordered 6 dishes between 2 people and it was just enough. We will definitely be back since it’s close to us and the food was delicious.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Alouette. We had a chance to speak with the owner and multiple team members, and they were all so accommodating, kind, friendly and made us feel so welcome.
The food was incredible - we were absolutely blown away by how good and filling it all was. The menu is locally sourced and crafted with such thought and inspiration and the inside is perfectly cozy and beautifully decorated.
We stopped by on a whim after noticing it while driving home and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to everyone we know.
