So glad to have stumbled upon this Alberta gem! The restaurant itself takes advantage of the great windows and natural light in the space. Food ingredients were fresh, the food was hot and delicious and service was friendly. 10/10 would come again

I go here all the time, if I had written this review 8 months ago it would be a 5 star. However in the last 3 months, the service quality and the portion sizes have gone way down, while the prices have gone up. It's still good food, but it doesn't go as far.

I really enjoy this place! Restaurant is nice and clean, food tastes delicious and comes out fast. If you work nearby and have a 30 minute lunch this does not take up the whole break period.

When I walk into a "Mediterranean" restaurant the first thing I look for is the vertical routisserie for the meat. Baba's has them so they score points for that. (There is nothing worse than the junk meat bought in a large bag with "gyros" meat marked on it which even some"good" restaurants cheat with.). The problem was, the meat wasn't fully cooked so the solution was to toss it on a grill plate to finish it up. I took a chance and went with it. The dressings were fresh and you picked what you wanted. Okay, but I like it when you can try a "local" expression of cuisine from the home region of an immigrant owner. I went with the spicy sauce. Overall it was an okay pita sandwich, mostly due to the meat being finished on the grill. The place was clean. There was only one young man working and he was friendly and doing his best. I kind of wonder about the manager/owner though since the afternoon visit should have meant the meat was cooked.
