Tried their dessert last time and this was able to make it to the food cart to try some of their other items. The Breakfast bowl (tosilog) was money! The pork belly tocino over garlic rice with a couple eggs is a simple but tasty dish. The chicken adobo was also good as the chicken was nice and tender and super flavorful.
They're doing great things here. I had the arroz caldo and bibingka two months ago and am still thinking of the meal with great fondness. The caldo is deeply comforting with lots of deftly balanced warming spices to start your day. The shrimp was also cooked perfectly. Definitely add the Taiwanese style donut to the caldo if given the option! My partner got the chicken adobo and it was delicious as well.
The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. What was originally a bummer when the food truck that I wanted to try was closed turned into a blessing when Baon was the next available. Without hesitation Baon stepped up to the plate and hit a home run. The Vegan rice bowl was scrumptious! Their chicken recipes sounded amazing as well. This food truck is now on my list of favorites, and it was my first time experiencing Filipino cuisine! It’s safe to say they made a great first impression on me. Go give them a try for yourself!
Holy moly! Such a delight. I had the Arroz Caldo with shrimp and Ube Bibinkga, both were so comforting and tasty. 10/10 can’t wait to go back.
Great place had the chicken adobo heard it was good, it was the best I’ve had since my Filipino college roommates mom made some for me. Staff is very nice.
