Update: good follow up customer service after posting review. We appreciate that.
Original post: Not worth it. Go somewhere else. They don’t take in person orders so we have to stand outside the food truck and order using an app. And wait. And wait another 15 minutes PDT the time Postmates told me my order was ready. Overpriced and terrible value, and totally not worth a 40 minute wait.
One of my favorite burger spots in Portland, especially their Cheeseburger.
The bun, meat, cheese, veggies, and special sauce just make the perfect combo. I usually add some fries and a Mexican Coke to make it a meal. The fries are just ok. All about the burgers here.
They keep moving the food cart around, but I will continue to support no mater where they move to. A fan of Steven is a fan for life.
Love their regular burger but also the veggie burger! Made out of actual veggies. Best in town. The fry sauce is bomb.
This is in my top two burger places in Portland. We went to the new Hinterland location this time and got a few cheese burgers and fries. Seasoning and texture is on point. Great job guys. Highly recommend if your craving a smash burger and want to be completely satisfied.
This rating is based on about 5 or 6 visits over the last year. Generally just an absolutely fantastic smash burger. Last night however after bringing our food home, I discovered my burger had so much salt on it, it was basically inedible and I threw most of it away. Ease up on the salt, it was so salty I thought maybe I was being messed with.
Edit: I appreciate the response from the owner. I don't actually think I was being messed with, it was just crazy salty. Stuff happens, short order cooking can be crazy busy and I probably just got a double dose by accident. My wife's burger was salty too but not as much as mine. I'll be back for sure and I'll just make sure to ask for no salt.
