Caffe Mingo

I was recently introduced to this restaurant by a friend and it's now my new favourite place to go. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and they have a fantastic music playlist. The food is delicious and they have an amazing wine selection. If you get a chance to talk to Brett at the bar counter, he'll answer any questions you have about the wine and provide excellent recommendations. I'm already looking forward to going back.

I used to live in Northern Italy and I am so happy to find a restaurant in Portland with authentic food, extensive imported wines (at an affordable cost, and amazing staff (Brett I’m looking at you!) that are willingly to educate about the wine varietals and their growing regions. The interior is adorable, the food is delicious, the playlist is pleasing. Do not pass up their romesco sauce!

Had reservations on a Saturday night. Ambiance, service, and drinks were really nice. Food, however, was disappointing for what we were expecting based on other reviews and prices. Maybe an off night but each dish lacked the classic Italian flavors we hoped for.

Such a high quality restaurant. Great ingredients, fresh menu and friendly staff. One of the best in pdx and not at all pretentious or stuffy- just a neighborhood gem!

It was wonderful to dine there after several years, and bring our daughters. One of the best Italian restaurants in all of Portland and the $5 valet parking right behind the location made everything quick and easy. Best pasta I've had in an extremely long time, and the desserts were incredible.
