I have been eating at its restaurant for the past year and I have never been disappointed. I will come back as frequently as possible to try all the dishes they offer. This is a great restaurant with the most friendly and respectful staff imaginable. Thank you guys for the authentic taste.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! Food was incredible. We had them cater an event recently and will absolutely have them cater for us a few more times this year. Julius was flexible and responsive to what we needed. 5/5 stars! If you haven't had the pleasure of trying this place out do eeeiiitttt nnnnoooww!!
Sooo yummy! We got the BBQ Faves Plate w/ ribs and the peanut soup and rice. Very tasty and great comfort food, the peanut soup hits the spot on a cold day! The owner provided great customer service as well! We'll be back soon!!
It’s very rare that I’m so pleased with a place’s food that I want to write a review, but this place is exceptional. Got the signature stew - so hearty and heartwarming. Ribs were outstanding. And the fresh ginger beer is the best ginger beer I’ve ever had. Definitely try that if they have it!
Calabash just catered our wedding of about 100 people and we couldn’t have been happier. Many guests, including our professional photographer who has been to more weddings than she could count, said it was the best food at a wedding they had ever had. Julius is a truly skilled chef, as well as kind, prompt, honest, and helpful. His food is wonderful - truly special. We had ribs, pulled pork sliders, chicken, mac, greens, peanut soup, stew, and several kinds of rices, and guests could not stop eating it. What a treasure this place is.
