Charlie's Deli & Delivery

Ordered through Caviar. They were out of the soda that I ordered but the deli promptly called to let me know so I could choose another. I got the Italian sandwich with German potato salad. The sandwich was amazing, good quality meat, and I could actually taste the olive oil and it was an excellent combo. The potato salad was still warm and slightly sweet and a little spicy. If you're trying to decide, definitely get the potato salad. I also had a mini cannoli that hit the spot; crunchy shell and not too sweet. 10/10 would order again. Thanks for being open during lockdown!!

The food is fresh and the combinations they create are delicious. For instance, I had little idea of how their homemade soup would taste, but it was the best tomato basil soup- yet not tomato basil because they added other things- it was just mouth watering. I ended up buying a couple bowls to last me for a couple days. I had the Alicia veggie sandwich, and they will add or subtract ingredients so you can make it your own if you like.
Like I said, all of the ingredients including the bread are fresh and the containers and all the food are well packaged. They make their own croutons which are like a side order in themselves. Their soup is so good, I eat the croutons as a snack.
I highly recommend Charlie’s Deli. Consistent and high quality.

Best italian sub in Portland!! Awesome people working here! Distinct Portland vibe in the dining room. Got a draft brew to enjoy with my sandwich. I should have gotten the chips, because the pasta salad was dry. Superb spot to chow with your group!

Good quick place to grab a sandwich. They have a good variety of sandwiches that you can either order as a half or a whole.

first time trying Charlie’s. found the restaurant on uber eats but ended up ordering delivery directly through Charlie’s website. My order had a few mods and they were followed through perfectly. Delightfully crunchy yet soft bread, super fresh produce and meats. Cannoli was ???????????????? I will definitely be coming back to Charlie’s whenever I visit Portland!
