Chart House

I have to give a HUGE shoutout to Chart House. I got engaged at this restaurant. :) They made our night absolutely PERFECT!!! A beautiful table near the fireplace and a gorgeous view of the city! The service was 5 star, we received a celebratory desert and the food was absolutely delicious! The crab cakes are divine, the steak is absolute perfection, the cocktails hit the spot and the list goes on! This will be the restaurant I take our family to every time they are in town because I know the food, service and atmosphere will not disappoint!!

The view is the reason to come here. The food is approachable and has improved since the last time I was here. Service was good, but a bit slow (we were one of two large parties, so I totally understand). They have a nice, cozy space downstairs with a full bar. The sign outside is hard to see, so it's easy to miss as you're winding up that hill.

The food was good and our waiter was very nice, but there were some things that dropped their rating. We made a reservation but we're told they were behind by 45 minutes. Not horrible, but in reality, it took us an hour and a half to get seated with the reservation. It is unnerving to eat with a bunch of grumpy patrons staring at you, waiting to be seated. I got the prime rib, which was cooked to perfection, however they finished it on the flat top, which they use to cook fish. So my prime rib had a fishy aftertaste. Not a very pleasant experience, would give 2.5 stars.

The food here is really delicious. I've had dinner and lunch here, and both meals have been great. Service was good. Free valet parking is an interesting perk.

Had a group dinner. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. A very good overall experience. My sister and I shared the prime rib and the crispy shrimp, enjoyed them both
