Communion Bakehouse

Such a quaint bistro-like atmosphere in the Sellwood/Westmoreland area. Smelled like fried garlic and tomatoes. The Basque cheesecake with cherry compote was plated beautifully. Vegan almond cookies were crisp and flavorful as well.

This place is awesome. Their vegetarian pizza was SO good.
Such a cozy place to go in the winter and have a beer and dinner.
I'm sure it will be a great place in the summer too.

Amazing pastries! Wonderful breakfast menu! Delicious creative pizzas. Cozy and modern interior with nice windows. Good for family or couples for reliably delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere.

My husband and I just moved to sellwood area and we couldn’t wait to find a local spot that was our go to. A couple of weeks ago we came here for brunch and loved their chicken sandwich and their seasonal Mac & cheese! Emily was so sweet!

Tonight we couldn’t figure out where we wanted to eat and figured why not try out their pizzas. We are SO beyond happy we did! Literally everything was amazing and Emily remembered exactly who we were and said welcome back as soon as we walked in! She is one of the sweetest servers!

The pear & arugula salad was delicious, the sausage pie we shared was beyond what we expected and the cheesecake we decided to share was seriously the cherry on top! We both walked home with smiles because there is nothing like a really tasty local place. We can’t wait to keep coming back here!

I decided against my normal burger off Bybee for communion bakehouse’s smash burger.... I was totally impressed with the quality burger, bun, and balanced flavors. My kids had their pizza which was a hand tossed dough that was remarkable. Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.
