Farmer And The Beast

Best thing that happened in 2020! Best burger ever but all the food is fantastic. It's my new guilty pleasure.

My favorite (old) burger joint in PDX closed due to COVID. Yesterday I found my new favorite. The Beast burger at Farmer and the Beast is superb. Imagine the best flat top griddle burger you ever had at a diner growing up, but imagine it made with WAY better ingredients. That's the Beast burger. Go get one and enjoy it at the very pleasant, clean outdoor seating they have, then try to talk yourself out of getting one for the road. F&TB wildly exceeded my expectations and we'll be back very soon.

Just ordered for pickup less than an hour ago and oh boy these burgers are amazing. Very juicy, not messy, cheesy, great sauce. Add the pickles for sure, I think that should be the standard. Wish there was another tomato option other than $3 heirlooms. A nice organic red tomato would be fine. We also got the crispy elote and Cesar potato salad. The elote is amazing! Very ripe juicy corn. The potato salad left a lot to be desired. The potato isn’t diced it’s kinda just sitting inside the ramekin and I think it could use a lot more mayo or dressing but the flavor is good and rich.

Great little food truck with fresh local food turned into delicious creations. The burger is amazing, juicy, flavorful, a perfect smash burger. And the corn (Elote?) was a really great surprise, didn't expect it to be so good just based on the server's description. I've been back three times now and gotten two burgers at a time it's that good

Absolutely AMAZING! I had the impossible melt along with the heirloom tomato bowl and they were both so delicious. I definitely recommend adding the grilled avocado to everything! Can't wait to go back
