Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine

I’m going to start with the positives, the ambience is really great at this restaurant and the flowers/plants are beautiful! The food is presented wonderfully. Now for the negatives the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The pad thai tasted sour. The Pad Ginger was overly salty and I had to ask for additional spice. But the curries were DELICIOUS even though on the significantly small side. The seating near the door is not the move the constant draft cooled down our food very quickly and my feet were freezing. But I would definitely visit again.

The flavor of the food is delightful and unique.
This is the first Thai food I ever had and honestly I was not disappointed.

The only thing I didn’t like it’s that we were planing on getting another drink after eating and we got our checks without even asking so we never had the chance to get another drink which were good too, don’t get me wrong the service is also good I just didn’t like that.

The outdoor seating has heaters above to keep warm, which is a plus for chilly evenings. Thai tea lemonade is interesting - Thai tea without milk but with lemonade instead. The pork belly salad would be better if the pork belly is more crunchy and fresh. Overall the taste is good. They have some food with nice presentation but probably only from the specialty menu and all above 20 dollars

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Portland. They prioritize local and organic ingredients. The food is flavorful and delicious. My favorite is the little Lao table, but you can only get that for take out. If you’re dining in, the atmosphere is bright and fun. They take covid seriously, with outdoor seating and temperature checks. Something to note is that the food (more often than not), comes out cold... That said, it’s still really really good.
