Fat City Cafe

We were a large party that arrived unexpectedly. Server was great, and they were very accommodating to our group when we asked to move the outdoor tables together. Overall our food was very tasty diner fare, but the biscuits were slightly underdone

Tiny place, the walls are covered in license plates and signs from all over. I enjoyed reading and sharing my discoveries.The service is fast. Food is typical american fare. I saw a huge cinnamon roll at another table. I will be trying one of those next. They are cash only, so go prepared. Outside seating is also available.

I have very fond memories of Fat City from my teenage years but haven't been in for a long time. I took my partner in today because he hasn't had a decent diner pancake in years and I just gave to say Fat City is just as good as it has ever been! Tom was our server and he was fantastic. We'll be visiting much more from now on!

I went to Fat City very regularly while I lived in Portland and had the pleasure of returning this past week. Helen, the owner, has done a great job keeping this little cafe open. They have the best eggs Benedict I've ever found and always have friendly staff. They are cash only now, but there is an ATM across the street.

Swung in one morning just by chance and wanted something from a dinner. Literally the best breakfast place I've found in all of portland. The atmosphere of the place was awesome too
