OMG! Not being from Portland, it took me a second to figure out the process... grab a menu, order your food, then chill and pick a seat.

The food was amazing. I ordered chopped salad with the pasta special. So good, so good, so good...

A casual restaurant with limited menu of simple Italian foods. The meatballs were very good. Ravioli and Cabonnara were a bit bland. Great location. Reasonable price. Pesky waitress.

The beet salad was amazing, arugula with pickled beets and onions with sliced pistachio and crumbled goat cheese.

The waitstaff was very attentive considering the order and pay/tip first set-up.

The pasta, all 6 dishes, came in solidly on the better side of ok. Sadly, not one pasta dish gave any of us "order envy.". If these are all truly handmade pastas, they are not handmade here.

We really enjoyed dinner here. It's a different concept where you order at the register instead of at the table. A fairly casual atmosphere. But, I would say that the food is higher end.

Generous portions if you are hungry. I had the Pappardelle and loved it. We started with a cheese and meat plate and that was my favorite part of the meal.

Delicious food. Best place to eat in St. Johns proper by miles. Retains the similarities of the owners very successful food cart. Consise menu that makes every dish special. Hands on management and pleasant staff. Treat a friend.
