Got an annual for my Surly. Got it back the same day. My baby shines! But more important, the gears are so freaking true. I can use everyone and the shifting is crisp and sure.

The staff were all great and responsive answered my questions and got the job done on time as promised.

I love that it’s walking distance from where I live making it really convenient.

Best bike shop in Portland! Kevin (the owner/manager) is incredibly friendly, knowledgable and skilled. In fact, every staff member I've dealt with at Golden Pliers has been nothing but happy and helpful.

The store has a great assortment of bike gear and accessories that you generally wouldn't see at just any shop. Very well curated product line-up from independent and small businesses as well as hard to find or specialty items from established industry leaders.

there may not be tons of bikes hanging from hooks, but Kevin and his staff know what they're talking about when it comes to bikes or adventuring on bikes. Yes, they have tubes and tires and such, but they also carry other great items you won't find in most bike shops. You can also grab a cup of coffee, a beer, pastries and even root beer floats!

Great shop! I stopped in and picked up a few hard-to-find supplies (reflective pizza!) and an awesome snack hole bag from Makeshifter Canvas Works. Cool shop run by cool people. Highly recommend for supplies, snacks and service!

Golden Pliers is such a cool spot!! Half hang out space, half bike repair and accessory shop. Beautiful bike accessories are for sale here ... Home of Makeshifter Canvas Works!! Bike repairs!! Coffee, beer and delicious baked goods!! Friendly people!! The space is bright and welcoming ... it’s a great hang out Happy Hour spot. Definitely a new favorite of mine :)
