Jim Dandy Drive-In

This is a place I have come to for many years, with my family, friends or by myself, and I truly love this establishment! I just went back recently after about a year, and the experience hasn't paled at all, the classic 30's -50's feel is there, and the food has only gotten better! Friendly, capable staff, right next to the Parkrose/Sumner park and ride transit hub, and the ice cream is still some of my favorite soft-serve. I hope they still do old car shows there!

First time going to this spot and it amazing. Old school diner and I love it had the works burger with everything on it ham bacon egg onion it all worked. Also great waffle fries. And the game changer was the milkshakes had a heath hot fudge milkshake it was top notch. Friendly staff, and really chill spot will return.

Great place to go for local American Comfort food. Was extremely busy and A small wait time but was very worth it. The milkshake was Delicious. Thick but not too heavy to suck through the straw with very consistent flavor. The Double bacon cheeseburger was done properly. A lot of flavor. Seasoned well. Crispy bacon with full flavor. Definitely will be going back to this place. as it has been around 100yr or so for good reason.

Great friendly service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Especially when you think about how good the food and shakes are. Also great atmosphere. Highly recommend. :)

Love this place! This is what's actually historic in Portland. You can't go wrong with any shake unless you accidentally choose flavors that you personally don't like. The shakes are very large in size compared to other places.

The standard burger is also delicious. They also have good vegetarian food options, by the way.
