La Casita Mexican Grill

As a gig economy worker, I'm always on the lookout for great food and affordable prices when I'm working downtown. La Casita's breakfast burritos are literally the size of your forearm and stuffed with perfectly seasoned ham, bacon, or my personal favorite chorizo. These things are loaded with meat but still maintain a good balance with all the other toppings they cram in there. Top it all off with one of the spiciest red salsa I've ever had and let it send you to flavor town. If you have a massive appetite and a love for quick greasy Mexican cart food this is the spot on the west side of the river.

This is the best place to get a burrito in all of Portland. I've been going here since it first opened and the quality has never been anything less than stellar. The breakfast burrito might be the most satisfying thing I've ever eaten. The hot sauce provided is also some of my favorite sauce I've tasted anywhere around town. Can't get a burrito and not walk away with several cups. The staff is also the nicest and are always able to accommodate people's requests! All around a joy to visit.

Most delicious, authentic Mexican food in Portland! Their prices and portions are hard to beat. Over an hour commute via MAX to PSU but this is our spot! Staff are always courteous and personable so we tip BIG. Worth the wait if you go during the lunch rush.
