While I haven't been into the tea room, the delivery was great. Everything was fresh, amazing, and a lot more filling than expected. All of the staff I interacted with were very nice and helpful!
I’ve been wanting to check this place out for a while, but with everything shut down, that seemed impossible. But then I thought of them for the perfect picnic fare and I was not disappointed! Online ordering is super easy, and pick up is safe as can be. Feels good to support small and local in these times.
The tea sandwiches are both delicious and darling, the scones are top notch, and to-go orders are thoughtfully packed, including moistened towels to keep sandwiches moist. Can’t wait to come back and check out the darling dining area.
I took my mother out for a light tea service at Lovejoy's Tea Room. We had a blast chatting in such a whimsical and quaint place. Everything seems so personal, and the tea list is quite extensive. The lady grey was always kept warm, and their spread was an amazing balance of fresh fruit, warm dense pastries, and wholesome sandwiches. At the end they came around with housemade tea-based confections, which was both eye appealing & delicious. The best part is they have a gift shop that sells many of the teas on the tea list. I'm definitely going to take baby girl next time.
WOW!!! I HAVE BEEN TO ALOT OF TEA HOUSE AND THIS ONE IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE!! GREAT SERVICE...THE OWNER BRENDON AND HIS TEAM ARE FANASTIC. WE HAD A PRIVATE PARTY OF 23 LADIES AND IT WAS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE.
JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! THE DESSERTS WERE AMAZING!!! YOU CAN ORDER ENDLESS AMOUNTS OF TEA....WHAT!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!????????????????????????
This place exceeded my expectations! I took a chance coming in without a reservation, I had it on authority that the patio was open seating and it was decently sunny. We were seated right away and our adventure commenced. My two friends and I ordered “Light Tea” (a misnomer, there was an abundance of food) and we enjoyed our tea, sandwiches, fruit, scones, shortbread cookies, etc... all the while, dark clouds crept closer. Despite our best efforts to will it away, the storm came. We huddled under the sun umbrella and continued our tea. The staff was so kind to keep checking on us although there was little to be done. As soon as possible, they moved us inside where we continued enjoying tea they even offered an extra treat for enduring the rain. They had no obligation to do any of that since we had chosen the patio but they were so kind! We actually really enjoyed the ordeal, rain and all, we were laughing the whole time. Something about the place lifts your mood and makes you feel special- like the way they make sure that you continuously have a hot pot of tea in front of you. I can’t wait to visit again. I will make a reservation next time but I’ll never forget this grand adventure!
