    Can owners/management verify this photo? It’s posted in the room with the fireplace but all the records we found said Jefferson High-school was built in 1908, not 1790. Thanks!

    This is the best Mcmenamins in Portland, period. The location is absolutely smashing, an old chapel transformed into a pub. The interiors are amazing, all wooden, a fireplace and so many great books. Drinks are normal mcmenamins fare, with some specialty cocktails. I had the hot apple pear brandy, really warmed me up. I had a lot of fun here. Definitely recommend this particular location to everyone.

    Got my second passport stamp here. Great, beautiful location with okay food (at okay prices.) I always get the cajun tots, as they are famous for them. This time I got a flight and sampled six beers; they were all solid, but I prefer the more experimental, seasonal beers. Their patio is nice and shady for hot days, interior is dark if you want to avoid the light. Good place for happy hour or to bring the family.

    Beautiful atmosphere. Good food, good beverages excellent service. We ate lunch and it was quite. No stress environment. The decore is one of a kind.
    A wonderful place for a date or even for taking your grandparents to. My mind just wondered from walls to the ceiling and back to the floor just talking it all in.
    I had the Santa Fe rice bowl and loved every mouthwatering bite.
