Nectar Cafe is an awesome vegan place to eat and drink (try their Carlton drink--it's phenomenal!)

I have a weekly group there; the cafe is not quite big enough for large groups but mine is small and they do have a large table in back to seat at least 5 people.

They have the most delicious desserts! Give them a try--you won't be disappointed.

Possibly one of the best (if not the best!) vegan gems of the city. It should definitely be on the short list of any local or venturer, regardless if you're vegan or not.

Also vegan (& gluten-free) Belgium waffles...just saying ????

Friend really liked it. Wife was meh. I liked it. If I'm hungry without the wife I'll go again.

I like some of the food there, like the potato waffle, but they ALWAYS try to talk you out of getting the waffle -- telling you that it will take a long time to prepare. Why do you have only 1 waffle-maker then? Why do you have waffles on your menu if you don't prefer to serve them because they take too long? On a slow Monday morning at 11AM, why are you NOT ABLE to make a waffle in a timely manner? I really would come here more often if they could just get a few more waffle-makers in the building.....

Absolutely amazing food and really nice vibe. Just don't go when you're in a rush, the kitchen seems to be quite small so it takes a while for food to be ready. It is most definitely worth the wait though!

I do have to make a suggestion on one meal: the gravy that comes with the potato waffle is quite oily and salty (we are mostly oil-free so take that with a grain of salt), and I wish it was a bit more creamy.

Amazing flavors overall, do not miss out on this place :)
