I was born and raised in New York, and after many attempts at finding a good slice in Portland I've finally found it! Believe me, I have been on the hunt since I moved here 5 years ago. I was extremely impressed by their pepperoni I had yesterday! The best I've had in town hands down. The employees are incredibly friendly and the customer service experience I received was excellent. They asked me what kind of pizza I was looking for ideally and I told them, "a slice of white with ground sausage and onions". Although they didn't have that stlye pie at the time available for slices (of course they could make me a 12 inch if I so chose) the woman working told me that the next day they would for sure have the pie I requested even though I only was ordering a single slice! Customer service like this is hard to find these days and the incredible quality of this pizza will definitely keep me coming back. I've gotten slices from their restaurant two days in a row now and I might even go back tomorrow! It's literally THAT good 👍

The crust is consistently awesome. A thin crust that is actually firm enough to hold its toppings, while still having a good chew to it. Try it! You'll eat the whole slice, even the crust!

Absolutely delicious New York style gluten free pizza! House made crust which is something hard to find in this city! It’s also great hot or cold, which is rare with Gf pizza in my opinion. They also have great customer service.

I can't say enough good things about this place. My partner and I just ate there for the first time and we can't wait to come back. We got the Love & Hate and Hot Salami... both were amazing and we already have 2 others picked out for next time we come back. PERFECT crust...balance of chewy yet crispy... yes please. Also ordered the classic salad with DELICIOUS Caesar dressing. Gotta recommend the Blue Dart mystery cocktail as well (pairs great with pizza😉).
On top of all that, there was a kitchen error so our order took a while longer than quoted... but not only did they invite us inside to wait (regular dine-in eating coming soon!), they gave us a free cocktail and both kinds of mind-blowingly phenomenal home made ice cream for the wait.
AND... the staff and I think maybe the owner?...they were all super awesome people. Not just friendly and nice, but they seemed legitimately happy to have us in.
It is a little tough catching them when they're open due to limited hours of operation... but you'll be doing yourself a major disservice if you let that stop you.

my favorite type of crust!! crisp base and exterior but chewy center. great salad options and unique flavor combinations along with classics. will definitely be my go-to neighborhood spot. service experience was also excellent. thanks, pizza kat. get used to seeing my name regularly 😂😁
