Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

So I’ve come here twice in 1 week and the staff is super cool. The only issue I have is that the drive through is curved at an angle that for bigger vehicles (I have a truck) it doesn’t really line up to get close to the window. Other than that, it is a great place to get good food and service.

I had no idea this was such amazing food.

About a year ago a friend of mine brought Popeye's Chicken to a get together. It completely changed my mind about fried chicken. Since then I've been to this Popeye's many many times.

I don't like the greasy style that other places have, but Popeye's is perfect.

This particular restaurant is usually quite popular. But they're super fast too. If you go through the drive thru, you'll probably get your food faster.

Inside they're usually playing either zydeco or other traditionally southern music.

The chicken was wonderfully flavored and cooked. The 3-piece meal was accompanied with only a single side order for $9. The mashed potatoes had amazing flavor. The service was a bit lackluster with one server spending the entire time I was in line chatting with someone. When the meal arrived there was no straw offered with the drink. No condiments offered with the biscuit. Great food and poor service is not a recipe for success.

This is by far my favorite fast food place, I love the chicken and the seasoning that they use on it. I have never had a disappointing thing from the menu. I also like the fact that they have so many choices of side dishes, it keeps me coming back that's for sure. I do wish they would put one in a little closer to where I live, but on second thought I would probably eat there so often that I would gain about 50 pounds so maybe it is better that they don't have one too close to me. They have such great food and the employees are super nice and very polite too.
