I can't say enough about their happy hour menu and the very accommodating staff. You need to try the ribs, fried chicken thighs and draft cocktails. If you have room left at the end, their banana pudding is the perfect nightcap.
Friendly service. I've been here a few times. Food always come super quick. The brisket is especially good. I love the 3 sauces they have at the table. They spicey is my favorite. Was slightly disappointed in the sausage plate during my previous visit. The sausages where cut in half length wise. I think it would be much better if they where served whole. I'll be back many more times
Comfortable seats, NW decor, and friendly staff. We ordered brisket sandwichs and hushpuppies during happy hour. We received good advice and recommendations for beer. The sandwiches were well balanced and the potato salad was excellent. There did seem to be a grip of people on staff though, and the appearance was that some of them worked much harder than the others. Maybe a weird shift change? In any case, we definitely noticed. Looking forward to going back and trying more of their yummy food!
I was disappointed that they where our if many items. Was there on a Sunday night. Not sure if that was the cause. But still enjoyed what I had (ribs) and the sides where good as well. And everyone in my party was happy with the food that was available.
Great atmosphere and small but good selection of beers. It's a good place to watch a game, and they have an exceptional happy hour. But I expect a BBQ place to knock it out of the park with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs, and sadly Reverend's quality is lacking. Their fried chicken and burgers are good... but those aren't the reason I go to a BBQ joint. Recommended for drinks and hanging out, but skip the food.
