Great value and lots of options at this great brunch spot. Had plenty to eat and leftovers to take home! The pancakes are great (German and regular). Atmosphere is relaxed and there’s lots of natural light from big windows which was really nice. Great spot for a brunch out with friends and we saw lots of families out as well.

Fantastically great food in an obviously historical old cafe. Melt in your mouth pancakes. Great personal no rush service. We're seriouly impressed with this place...a real jewel of a breakfast or lunch place find. If in Portland area this should be on your list to try. Yes it's so good you might have to wait, but anyone who says it's expensive is lying. Well in line prices and in fact cheaper than Denny's. Ignore the few haters who obviously cant be pleased....

First experience. There wasn't any line at all granted we came less than an hour before closing. The kiwi pancake was delish and based on that, I think you can't go wrong with any pancake choice. The drinks are also very good. Overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely come back

outstanding breakfast in the Brooklyn village section of Portland Oregon. The German Apple pancake was outstanding. We also had a savory German pancake with sausage mushrooms and vegetables which was also outstanding. Biscuit and sausage gravy was very good coffee was adequate service was great overall excellent highly recommended.

Really great breakfast place. The German pancakes are awesome. I had the seasonal rhubarb German pancake and it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The coffee is great too and they always keep your cup full. Really friendly staff and restaurant!
