Simply Thai is really good, and the people who run it are friendly. So far I like the holy basil fried rice the best but I'm going to keep trying new dishes. If you want some good Thai staples, Simply Thai is your spot.
Pad Thai was delicious, not greasy, plenty of egg and protein. Average price and quick service.
My favorite PDX Thai so far from the most friendly owner. Manages a really fresh crispy fast cook on stir fry and the curries are perfect. Too many curries have been sugared up at other places. They manage spicy for me and mild for others, too.
I have had consistently awesome food here both before and after the pandemic!
Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) today was great and had lots of veggies. Have also ordered spring rolls, fried tofu, pad thai, and curries. Never had mediocre Thai food here. They also actually make my food spicy when I ask, even though I look like a white bread loaf that can’t handle it.
Regardless of the food being completely on point, when I ordered here recently they had excellent infection control. My card wouldn’t cooperate with contactless. After running it they washed hands, changed gloves, avoided touching anything else, etc. It did not go unnoticed.
Their Thai Fried Rice with tofu (spicy) was perfect. Just the right amount of spice with some nice Thai chili, broccoli, and excellent tofu. My gf's pad Thai was pretty plain. I'm assuming if she liked a bit more spice it might have been better. $9ea and I'll be back!
