Southland Whiskey Kitchen

I took my friend Elizabeth to lunch this past Sunday at Southland Whiskey Kitchen at it was great! The atmosphere was fantastic, we weren't hovered over, but we never felt forgotten about or abandoned. The food was good, I got the gumbo and Elizabeth got the Shrimp Po Boy, which she enjoyed very much! If you're into BBQ, and kind of a family style atmosphere with good food and fun, this may be the place for you.

This place made me realize how much I like whisky drinks. Good alcohol choices if you are willing to pay the high price tag. BBQ was very good as well. It has been a while since I found a BBQ place in Oregon that does it right. So many places are bland of taste, but this one hits it out of the park. Good place for group who want a fine drink and an bomb dinner.

Country/Rustic vibe with pretty good food and an awesome happy hour. In terms of waiters it's hit or miss. Sometimes we get a great waiter and sometimes we get one that doesn't check on us much at all. Cortney is the best waitress we've had here, super cheery, attentive, and fast. Come here if you don't mind having to find parking blocks away because parking here is very limited.

Great brisket. Delicious pecan pie. Happy hour prices are amazing and chili is top notch. Definitely worth while. Whiskey Wednesday is also a wonderful way to discover to whiskeys on the cheap.

LOVE this place. It can get busy, especially during happy hour. But why wouldn’t it?!?! They have a SCRATCH kitchen with mouth watering options all around. Happy hour menu is only $5 for some choice items as well as some beer and drink!! I walk in and ALWAYS greeted with a smile. Another one of my Cheers!
