Thai Orchid Restaurant

Our family loves Thai food and this is simply delicious. The staff are super friendly. This is our favorite Thai restaurant in Portland. Our son adores the Orange Chicken and we love that they offer it as a kid’s portion. The Yellow Chicken Curry is thick, rich and has lots of meat and vegetables in it. We love this place.

This is a great little restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. If you like Thai food, I highly recommend trying it out.

This is some of the best Thai food I've ever had. What really sets it apart is the service and attention to detail. The gentleman (Nickey?) who helped me was wonderful with accommodating my request to have certain items made vegan. He really went out of his way to let me know which dishes could be modified and which ones couldn't. I really didn't expect that level of attention to detail and caring. I felt bad because I was making his job more difficult/annoying but he was so nice about it.

The evil jungle noodles were phenomenal. I got it made "hot" and it was perfect. My boyfriend got the pad thai with shrimp, also hot, and he really liked it. This restaurant is a gem. I wish I could take it home to LA.

Absolutely delicious. I got the Duck Curry, my girlfriend got the Spicy Basil Lamb, and both were incredible. Good service, reasonably priced. Definitely will return.

Even my burp tasted good! Wow. Excellent food and flavor authenticity....highly recommend.

The decor is lovely and a great mood setter giving the diner/foodie an atmosphere that could easily be casual or not depending on the occasion. They deliver! How awesome is that? They use most delivery services like Postmates making eat at home experiences just as yummy as hanging out in the restaurant.

These are kind gracious people who pampered us accordingly when we dined after numerous recommendations to check it out. Great service! I chose one of the staff's authentic picks from the menu as I was in search of a good curry....and I got a Great curry instead. I will definitely say that if you want to try new things be open to them and go for authentic flavor. My tongue was very happy with medium spicy as it gave just enough heat without it being overdone and gently subsiding into a delicate nutty and not overly sweet like flavor with delicate vegetable notes. My tummy is still thanking me.
