The Richmond Bar

I loved this place before COVID, but it has a patio with heaters so it's open again.

The drinks are fantastic, I had something that was essentially an Old Fashioned but with Gin last time.

I'm also a sucker for hand pies and they have a veggie one and a venison one, and they're both great. We also love the wedge salad and cheese fries. I don't know if I've had anything else, but if they're half as good as what I've eaten, It's amazing.

I should have asked the bartender's name because he was great. We came after sushi down the street and I was beyond impressed. Never been in besides for a quick round once or twice so I've never explored or paid attention until today.

I got the spiced cider and my friend did too after trying mine. Killer for a $7 pint and all the bonus points to the bartender for teaching us the Italian word for walnut and taking the time to give us a really quality description of what we were drinking even after we'd ordered. I see you caring about your job and not just for an upsell, and I appreciate you.

The patio is perfect. Cozy fireplace and dry seats were a treat. I'm all about a place that let's me enjoy the outdoors in the dead of winter.

We didn't eat this time but we have plans to next week because the drinks and atmosphere were great and the menu looked good and reasonably priced. Couldn't be happier!

Great location. Excellent drinks and really great food. Only complaint is the service of one bartender.!!
Both male bartenders are very polite and knowledgeable but the female is unbelievable. On 5 separate occasions i have received extremely poor service. " I want to go home. Idk why any of you are here. There are other bars on Division." " What do you want?" Etc. I've witnessed her treating a lady poorly because her beer was split on a wobbly patio table. Eye rolls. Slamming a beer down on counter. Drop the attitude, this is an industry town and people notice poor service. I would love to come in again, when other people are working.
