Zoiglhaus Brewing Company

Dramatic improvement since my previous visit. Great place for amazing beer and food

Good beer in the German style. Great food too, but not typical pub grub, think schnitzel. I liked the vibe but it was almost empty on a Thursday night. Looks like a fun place for sports and social gatherings. Parking was adequate and close.

I didn't have unlimited time for my first visit to Zoiglhaus, so the end result is a desire to go back for further exploration of both their beer and food menus. So far, I've been fortunate enough to have tried two of their dark beers (a Dunkel and a Black Lager), a happy hour burger, their soft pretzel, and fries. All were excellent. The vertical sides of the box that the fries came in helped keep the ones on the bottom nice and hot until we reached them - an excellent choice by the kitchen.
Service was friendly and prompt, so, all in all, this was a delightful place to visit.
Next on my list will be to explore more of the German food options. The Lents neighborhood is undergoing rapid change, and regardless of the net effect of all the development, Zoiglhaus is definitely a positive part of the goings-on in this neighborhood.

Great service and great food. Atmosphere was perfect, food came out pretty fast and the staff was so friendly. The couple beers we tried were awesome as well

First time coming here the boot was 2Liters way bigger then I thought, it won this time, the fish n chips were really good the cod tasted fresh the fries that came with it were amazing love thin crispy Fries! The fried pickles were decent just don’t like speared fried pickles too much. My girlfriend ordered the chicken salad with the IPA ranch the salad wasn’t bad she just didn’t like the taste of the chicken almost like it had been sitting out for a while.
