Spirit Mountain Casino

So impressed! Casinos are not a regular stop for us but this one has so much to offer. Huge place! Large non-smoking section with slots, keno and tables. Played slots all day and broke even so a good day as far as gambling goes. Nachos in the sports bar were excellent and only $8.50. Good drinks AWESOME service, fair prices and enough TVs to go around. Even turned on the game we wanted with no hassle. All areas clean and staff constantly asking how they could help. Buffet looked good with tons of variety, we didn't try but have heard worth the trip. The arcade offers day care and numerous games at again fair prices. Most transactions are via cards or vouchers so very easy for all. Wheelchair access and self serve soda well located. Bingo is fun whether manual or with "laptop". Well organized, you can tell they have been doing this for decades. In all areas we visited they do things right and care greatly for their customers. Hoping to visit again, next time spending perhaps a night so we can chk out more events.

We saw Smokey Robinson 18th of Jan. The venue was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I knew the lights were going to flash the audience on occasion, I would have worn my shades. Sound was good. Had a fun and enjoyable time. As for Smokey, he is LEGENDARY! Awesome performance! I hope to see him again. HAPPY BIRTHDAY next month!

We were there on the 18 of January to see Smokey Robinson. Great concert, well worth it!!! However the " Famous Buffet " was NOT!!! I have worked many years in service industry where we lived off of tips, if the wait staff and table cleaners from Spirit Mountain live off tips, they will not make it!! They did not smile, were not friendly or welcoming or even helpful really. The food was less than great, bad actually. Prime rib was tough, and pizza was cold, and pot roast was different. It just seems to me that if you work with people and in public you would be nice and at least polite. Other than the food and dining experience my time there was great. I will eat before I go next time!!
Spirit Mountain needs to tighten up their employees and hire more friendly people!!!

Took honey here for his birthday. Pro tip: check their website for deals and special rates. Paid around 60 for a night and free breakfast coupons for their buffet were included. I'm not a gambler so I can't really rate that but their buffet is the stuff dreams are made of! (Insert Homer Simpson drool). The wait staff let us go and look at the food first before we paid which was so nice because I'm not a fan of buffets. The food was super good. I wish I had an extra stomach to bring with me just to get everything I wanted to eat in there.I would literally drive back up there just for their beef ribs alone. That's how good it was. We will definitely be back. I was disappointed in the lack of native American items in the gift shop though. When I'm on the reservation I like to spend my money on authentic Native American souvenirs.

Rooms were way too dark. Need more lighting. Especially in the closet where the safe is located. Club coupons should be sent our earlier so they can be used at beginning of months. I had two free rooms in December, but since the coupons did not come in for January, I had to pay rack rate. Probably will get the coupons in the mail this week.
