El Charrito

Been a regular for over 15 years and can safely say, this is my favorite Mexican restaurant out of anywhere. Good food, good prices, and good people. Sometimes service is a little slower when they’re busy, but hey that should tell you something. Either way it’s always worth the wait. Highly recommend whether you’re stopping in Pendleton for something to eat or if you’re a local and wanting to try something new!

Good margarita for a fair price. The food is also appropriately priced. The chimichanga and the other dishes just needed more seasoning, even salt. The salsa had a nice bite to it and was very flavorful. They were clearly short staffed but were still doing a pretty darn good job.

Agree with other reviewers. Food defintately tastes authentically homemade. Generous portions. But very bland - like they chef is afraid to add any flavor whatsoever. Except the shredded beef - very flavorful! Guac was just smashed avocado - we mixed with salt (upon request) and salsa and was much better.

Incredible service and delicious food! A clean, well run, family restaurant. Our whole family loved the food! Would definitely go back. We were traveling through and it was definitely worth finding.
