Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant

This went from my favorite Mexican restaurant, to my favorite restaurant in town. I've never had a bad experience there and the food has always been great with friendly staff and timely servers. Well worth it thank you.

Best Mexican Restuarant in Pendleton, OR is MAZATLAN! The Fajitas are amazing and all of us had a wonderful time. Same Chef for 28 years!

So my review is a two part.
1. Wheelchair accessible isn't the best I was able to make our way across the parking lot, uneven pavement makes it a little bit of a challenge but durable. Getting in wasn't that much easier, hard to get into table and no leg room for my wife's feet.
2. The food was ok. Wasn't what I would say full of flavor. The service was great it was a Sunday evening and fairly busy. It was a little slow but great service will always be a plus for me. I would and most likely will go back and try something new.

We went to Mazatlan to enjoy a nice dinner and we were not disappointed. We had been there years ago and wondered if we would find the same great food as we remember. We started with a margarita and michelada. The margarita was just the right blend of tequila and flavor. My michelada was tasty and fun to drink. I often judge a Mexican restaurant by the rice so that was the first bite I took off my plate and knew that I would enjoy the rest of my meal. I ordered the birria burrito and it was phenomenal. He had the molcajete which had a variety of proteins, veggies and salsa.

If you're looking for delicious Mexican food be sure to visit Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant in Pendleton, Oregon. It was worth our 3-hour drive.

Mediocre, run of the mill, average.
Nothing bad - nothing great. Good shredded beef.
