Lovely! It was a very welcoming place to walk into! The people were very friendly and the ambiance was delightful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The Bistro was delicious and perfect after the spa! A very wonderful weekend!

Lovely place to get away from noise, people and technology. Beautiful hotel and extremely helpful staff. I had pretty specific dietary needs and they made me a delicious, gourmet dinner.- above and beyond the normal we vegans get tossed (salad, yawwnnnn). The town has literally nothing to do, so bring a book and a bottle of wine and totally chill.

After experiencing, An excellent Employee Appreciation Experience...I award a 5 star...the rooms and the ambiance of times long ago...i felt a wonderful night's sleep, after enjoying an exceptional 3 course meal. Dessert that's delightful and desirable. Hearty breakfast with options. Totally worth the experience.

Enjoyed their Winemakers Dinner! Delicious meal. Rooms are old world charm as well as hotel. Pleasant and quiet. Definitely in a small community miles off the beaten path.

The hotel is located 1 block from a local grocery store. From the hotel you can walk just about anywhere in Dufur, very convenient location. The third floor has a good view of Mt Hood. Hospitality was unbeatable, from the front desk, to hostess, to the chef, they were all very pleasant and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, and room had a good feel to it. We're in our mid 50's and enjoy the feel of historic hotels. It's okay not to have T.V., and to take the stairs. There's charm in every historic hotel. My favorite area was in the back yard or the library. Thank you team for taking care of us during our visit. We look forward to returning and seeing you again.
