I don't really care to stay in hotels, that being said I would most definitely stay here again! I have recommended Cousins to family/friends as well. Room so clean, staff amazing, restaurant yummy/great service as well. The pricing for both are more than fair and less than lesser hotels.

Room was very large and spacious. Great walk in shower in room w/ 2 queens. Very good restaurant on premise plus 20 ٪ discount for wonderful breakfast. Evening cookies in lobby coffee bar with good coffee. Best room we stayed in during our 11 night vacation.

I didn't stay at the hotel. I'm reviewing the restaurant.

The food and service is always good. If you order coffee they give you a cup & a carafe. The coffee is pretty good.

One of the cheapest things on the menu is the 3 large pancakes; it's about $10. It's more than enough for any meal.

My favorite meal is the Chicken Fried Steak meal. It comes with a "home made" biscuit and apple butter sauce. The meal is about $16.

I believe the restaurant & bar close at 9pm every night. That's 1 hour too early...but it is The Dalles.

A down-home Country themed restaurant, think Cracker Barrel with a smaller gift shop. You’re greeted by an electronic mooing cow sound when you open the door to the restaurant and are promptly greeted by a host “hello cousins”.
We had French toast with 3 thick slices, the country Benedict which was a four egg omelet on top of bacon slices (I substituted sausage for bacon) on top of biscuits and all of it topped with sausage gravy. My son added a cinnamon role which was nearly as big as the full sized plate (which we took home but I sampled and it was delicious.)
