A special experience everyone should try out! Clean, stylish, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Decorations are thoughtful and add to the whole feel of the diner.
Food is a tad bit more $$ for a restaurant in the suburbs but the food and portions seem to justify it.
The Denver omeltte is beautifully layered and goes do wonderfully with the hash browns.
For an authentic experience sit at the counter and get a coffee!
I've really enjoyed the sweet breakfast options in the past, but today I got a breakfast plate of scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and an English muffin. The eggs were very rubbery and the bacon was thin and oily. The muffin was pretty tasty and made in-house, which I respect, but it would have been better if it were less doughy. The hash browns were okay, but could have been crisper.
The moment you pull up and see this classic diner you will feel nostalgic. Talk about love at first site. Lol. As you walk in take a look to your left, that antique coke mirror was mine at one point. I had no idea they bought it from me. Funny!! When you walk in you get to pick your own booth or table. So pick your spot and get ready to feel back a few decades. Classic milkshakes. Classic food. Classic decor. The waiters/waitresses are always friendly and keep an eye on your pop or coffee. It is rare we hit the bottom of the glass/cup. My boyfriend and I go here often and it is always fun to take my Mum because she talks about the era and tells family stories.
I love this little diner. It's usually the same waitress there when I go. And I always have rockin service every time I go, even if they're busy. I love the chicken fried steak and chicken and waffles. Great place for weekend breakfast or a quiet breakfast for dinner. They do have dinner and lunch options as well.
Definitely a unique spot out in Suburbia. It was a little better than we expected and provides that Diner sort of experience if that's what you're craving. We had breakfast foods and they were all good. We were in and out relatively quick, and although that's not why we went there, it was better than our expectation.
