Out Aza Blue

Out Aza Blue has literally become our family’s favorite restaurant in the entire Portland metro area.

It’s a short drive out on the Wilson River Highway to be able to be seated next to the Wilson river, and have an amazing atmosphere that just dissolves away the stresses and problems as you enjoy a glass of premium wine from a very well stocked wine bar.

The food is absolutely unforgettable, and my wife and I have found we constantly compare items at other restaurants to those from Out Aza Blue, and find that the quality that Gabriel serves is literally second to none. The absolutely fabulous food will typically be served in courses that are unforgettable from the salad, appetizers, entrees, breads, and desserts.

The only thing that will compare with the daily offerings are the great wine pairings on Sundays with typically four wines chosen to be paired with an outstanding selection of entrees that enhance both the wine and the food selections.

Even vegans can have a great meal here as there are vegan and vegetarian options on the menu, with a vegan pasta entree that is a medley of sautèed veggies in a fragrant white wine and tomato herb broth.

There’s nothing quite like dining at a restaurant with great food and service, but when you add great views it’s so much better. It’s even better if those views are right in the foreground from each table and if they are something beautiful and mighty like the gorgeous Wilson River.

The location of Out Aza Blue is a fantastic location for lunch, dinner, or for a private function for a group of up to twenty or thirty directly overlooking the river from the back deck dining area, or the same views from the indoor dining room..

We had no idea! We have driven this Wilson Diver Hwy. route for years on our way to Tierra del Mar where our beach cabin is located. Just in the last few months, we have noticed your restaurant. We picked up the menu & were pleasantly surprised at the offerings, but you were closed at the time. My husband & I planned on trying it again on our way to the beach. So on Sunday our luck came due! We ordered the "Pasta and Vino Dinner for Two" for take out. This includes two choices of pasta dishes, two salads, and a bottle of red or white wine. Our pasta choices were Aza Carbonara, & chicken & broccoli azafredo. We both chose the fresh berry & feta salad. We also ordered the Manaeesh Rolls, stuffed with herbs, sundried tomatoes, and three cheeses. The red wine was a 2017 Columbia Vallley blend . Everything was amazing! We will definitely share with friends and family about your restaurant. We plan on returning very soon! Thank you!

Ordered the Pasta & Pizza for 4, and oh my was it delicious! And we had so much food left over. I ordered and picked up our food. Once I got home I realized I had forgotten our salad. 5 minutes after I realized it our doorbell rang. One of the nice gals at the restaurant had driven all the way to our house (25 minutes round trip) to bring us the salad we forgot. I didn’t even call! You know it’s hard for restaurants to show good service when they don’t have many opportunities right now with dine out only, but boy did they take this opportunity and make the most of it. You now have a customer for life. Incredible food, incredible service, my new favorite!!!!

The food...so well prepared with such lovely flavors and paired with wines selected by the chef. The Chef and staff are always so warmly welcoming and complement the entire experience. Try it for yourself!

The food is always so good and the location is so unique for an upscale menu at good prices. I love the views of the river.
