Class reunion . Great venue awesome staff. Loved it.
I've played Meriwether for over 40 years. I played here several times this season, and three times post-aerifying. I have to say that I am amazed at the transformation in the conditions of this course.
The Greens are fantastic now. There are private clubs that wish they had greens this good. They're rolling at 11+. They're firm, but receptive. They're smooth..and the course set-up is always fair, but challenging.
The Tees are maintained, the fairways are nice..the traps are always raked and manicured. It's extremely pleasing to see how beautiful this course is now. If you've never played Meriwether, you have to play it.
It's also about the most quiet, most peaceful place to play, with no houses, no road noise, as it's nestled between a few farms and the Tualatin River. It's a very beautiful, natural setting.
Plus, this place has an executive course, and one of the best practice facilities in the Portland area. It's great for beginner to intermediate players, but will also challenge the single digit players. It's a must play!
Soccer golf is fun. Nice little golf house here.
Great Course. Has gotten better over the last few years. The greens and greens keeping is fabulous, practice facilities are large with lots of different varieties of practice areas for chipping and putting. Clubhouse prices are fair for any extras you might need. The restaurant is pretty decent also. Would definitely recommend this place for your next golf outing.
Good place for a round of golf. Course maintenance has bee spotty in the past but has been much improved the last two years. Wish the south course hadn't been let grow out just so there was more variety.
