I recently had the pleasure of working at Amaterra and I had a fantastic time. As the owner of a wedding planning, design, and floral company (Rachael Meader Floral and Event Design) I really appreciate a well designed event space. It seems like Amaterra thought of everything when they were designing the space. No detail was spared in it's design. I will definitely be recommending Amaterra to all of my clients. I can't wait to return. Thank you Amaterra!

Outstanding property, a gorgeous facility, but with some start up stresses. Fix those, and it's a five star. Food was quite good, with a limited, but broad enough menu. Our meals were excellent, although one had far too much salt. Wines are one reason they are there, and I think will do well. Our service was a weak point. Our table was literally touching elbows with the next, which they explained as an error in placement. A salad was brought same time as entrees. Every item question was replied with "oh, that's my favorite". They seemed unaware of what utensils were appropriate. No fresh between courses, and provided spoons when forks were needed. Beginner errors that I am sure they will correct. Can't wait until there is enough light to have a view when dining!

We had an awesome dinner here the first night they opened. Service was impeccable. You can't pass up the meatball appetizer. Tried the flight. Gave us a nice taste of the wines they are putting out. Decided to become a wine club member. We live in Portland so it's going to be nice to do a bit of wine tasting without having to drive to Dundee.

This place is awesome. The location is amazing. The staff took their time to explain dishes and wines selections to make sure that we were really satisfied. The executive chef Jami Flatt even came out and addressed my food allergies. Very personable and accommodating. My experience overall was a 5

I was so excited when I found out Amaterra was opening in the NW hills. I am not sure if there is ANY winery in the Portland-area that has a more convenient location, or better sunset views.

After joining as a wine club member in November, my partner and I recently had dinner in Amaterra's newly open restaurant. The food was great... the menu is very northwest-inspired, which matches perfectly with the architecture and design of the building. Highly recommend.
