Brooklyn Trattoria Italian Restaurant

This is easily the best Italian restaurant I have been to in Oregon. It was a random find from Google when we were at cathedral park and looking to get some good food. Now we have made two additional troops from Salem to see this place specifically. I am a fan for life! Keep up the great work!!! Added bonus is the owner is in touch with his customers and will come out occasionally and give a quick chat. Very funny and personable!

Tonight was our first night dining here and we were very pleased. We had a large group and reserved the back room. Our server was amazing and the food was delicious. Portions were perfect. We will absolutely be back!

I had a great time at the restaurant. The place looks and smells great as soon as you walk in. Any Italian place that has that sweet aroma of roasted or cooked garlic is instantly an indicator of a good time that's about to follow. The service staff were very affable, and made our evening a lot better with their timely service and cheerful disposition. The food tasted excellent and we even had a gentleman, who I think was the owner, stop by our table to inquire if everything was going well. He convinced us to try some good champagne and also offered us some of the days special clam chowder to go on the house, that we were too full to take him up on. We also ordered some cocktails, all of which were very enjoyable.

Overall, I definitely recommend this spot. It takes a lot of guessing out of your evening allowing you to focus on having a good time.

Had a great dinner here. The items we tried were all delicious. And the place has a great atmosphere and service. But there were a couple of little things that really stood out. Brussel Sprouts always seem to be hit or miss - these were done just right - perfect texture. And then I had a cocktail with black walnut bitters - our server talked about how they created the bitter themselves - what a nice touch. Will be back.
