By Design Pizza

I’ve been a long time fan of Mod pizza and wanted to try this place out. Walking in, I was the only person in the place and all the employees were hidden in the back. I stood there for a minute before a fairly unfriendly person appeared from the back and asked what I wanted. I was surprised to see that they charge 30 cents for a side of ranch (really?) and that the pizza cost more than Mod, even though it seems smaller. I heard the crust from this place was better and it definitely is not. It’s super thin, doesn’t hold its shape, very bland. The pizza sauce is excellent though. That’s the one thing that saved this pizza, haha!

Pretty good pizza. They have gluten free cauliflower crusts which are pretty good. The sauces are good. I wish there were more topping choices, but the end result was still a good pizza that felt pretty healthy too. The only downside was when a topping fell off the pizza and rolled into one of the meats and the server took it out and put it on the vegetarian pizza. Cheap good beer too. Great for a quick stop.

I thought it would be more of a restaurant-style place but you order at the counter. That being said the pizza was decent, nothing special but not the worst and the crust is thin (which I like). But if you're in a pinch the pizza comes out FAST, and for one large +an extra topping and 4 beers we only paid $38 so I'd say that's some good pricing.

This is an ok place at best. They cook the pizza like almost any other major chain. But everything is fresh so that is definitely a plus. The other items are definitely not something I suggest. But if you need to eat and there's no other pizza place close enough this place will do
