Sanchez Taqueria Y Panaderia

Sooo good! Their salsa Verde is delish and free!! Huge plates. Left full and happy. They have a big bakery in the back and plenty of options. Parking is limited. Menu prices are cheep! The cashiers were bilingual. My son loves to go here for breakfast.

My wife has eaten at Sanchez Taqueria Y Panaderia at 13050 SW Pacific Highway in Tigard several times, having met friends for lunch.

So we went as a family for dinner.
It is easy to see from the road but can sneak up on you quickly if you are traveling North bound.

The food overall is solid. The fish tacos are always hot, tasty, and fresh.

I had the super-burrito which comes with sour cream and slices of avocado (the restaurant does not serve guacamole). The red sauce was basically un-doctored tomato sauce. But the great salsa and bottles of spicy sauces make up for it.

The flan (and the bakery in general) is phenomenal and everyone who works there is incredibly friendly that you definitely sense you are at a warm family restaurant.

This is an order at the counter, find a table and wait for your food to be delivered. Service was fast. I found the food here to be average. The hot sauces were pretty hot. The Verde sauce was a keeper. Took about a minute and then started to burn...little to hot for me personally. The Red sauce burned right away and was much hotter...yes I am a WUSS! The bakery cabinet looked tasty but I did not partake.

Spacious place with plenty of seating indoors & outdoor. Can accommodate groups easily. Order at counter (no waitress / table service). Pastor tacos were delicious with homemade tortillas. No above & beyond attention, but ok service.

I ordered a Chile Rellãno and a Crunchy Chicken Taco. I was so happy with both. These are two of my favorite foods in the planet and they did not disappoint!!
