The Common Cup Amity

First time we went the food was great! The location, shops nearby and staff are wonderful. This second time around we brought my in-laws and the location, staff and fun table games are still great but I realized that after some unfortunate mishaps (breaker and waffle iron) that wasn't the actual reason my food came out cold - it was their timing. The hashbrown waffle and savory waffle get cold because of the lengthy cooking time of the poached egg. My in-laws were bothered by it so they sent one order back. But I was so hungry I ate the cold savory waffle. They did offer to re-do the hashbrown tho. Overall, the waffles, especially the sourdough one is amazing! I also recommend their matcha latte.

Great coffee and waffles. Staff is awesome. The cozy and friendly atmosphere is something you don't get to enjoy very often elsewhere. Great place!

Came here a few months ago. It was far better service and food.
My eggs were VERY runny. The hashbrowns were half the size in width of a standard waffle. My husband was done eating before I got my food and then I'm done before my eldest child got his food. Also, we didn't receive our coffee order until the last waffle showed up and it was warm at best. Food outside of that was really good. The kitchen had a little trouble so I understand some of the delays, however the place is understaffed. Seating is difficult for a family of four if there is anyone else here with four people because all of the chairs are too tall for me I can't sit at a bar stool easily. Neither could the folks who just walked out. Additionally, there was an overwhelming perfume smell throughout the building that made my eyes burn. The florist shop inside smells better so it's not from there.

Great staff provided excellent service (quick and friendly). Food was delicious; the chocolate chai, too.

Delicious waffles and very well made coffee! The atmosphere is cozy and delightful. Bonus points for having gluten free waffles, and yummy too! This is definitely a must stop place in Amity.
