Cilantro & Ajo

Best Venezuelan in Pittsburgh! We like to do take out, and stock the fridge with goodies; the empanadas keep very well. Grab a bottle of the green sauce out of the fridge too; it goes well on any kind of sandwich.

This is a great, hidden gem of the South Side area that I was fortunately to stumble across one day. I had an arepa with chicken and cheese, that was excellent. Prices are quite reasonable, and the location is great. If you're interested in trying Venezuelan food, I would definitely recommend this place!

This place has great food! Everything we had was delicious. There's nothing fancy about it. You order at the counter and all serving items are disposable, but the food comes out relatively fast and is so tasty.

My husband who is Venezuelan introduced me to Cilantro y Ajo and I could not be more thankful!!!! I probably eat here at least once a week because it's that good. Extremely authentic, the flavor is amazing. The meat is always so fresh and tender. The staff is also extremely nice, welcoming, and sweet :) I recommend this place to literally everyone I know. Please try it, you won't be disappointed!!!

The service and food was excellent! I had the chicken and gouda sandwich. It was hot (not spicy hot) and delicious! It was also very affordable. I would recommend this place for a quick meal to eat in or take out.
