Stack'd Oakland

I like Stack'd. The food and service is well worth the cost, but it's not very expensive.
Normally has a lot of college kids, so you have to deal with that. However, if have to eat somewhere in the area, and being annoyed by college kids is a deciding factor, Stack'd is probably your best bet. There's probably less of that there then anywhere else in walking distance.

Service is always great, food is good. Annoying that the burgers can be done only medium well, but they still turn out reasonably well. The topping list for the burgers is extensive, but somehow simultaneously not really toppings you’d actually want (peanut butter or Cheetos on a burger doesn’t sound great). The old bay fries are insanely good.

Excellent eatery. You design your own sandwich from a check list. Pretty cool. Had the cajun turkey burger with onion rings. Delicious!

The name is stacked because the burgers are a foot high ?
