Aunt Bridget's Tea Room

A pleasant tea room in an unexpected location. Ambridge is a blue collar town, down on its luck, with memories of its prosperous history as a steel town. You expect to see plenty of bars, which we have, perhaps even a coffee house, which we also have, but not a serious tea house with a vast selection of quality teas! The space is relaxing and it is a pleasant place to enjoy an afternoon reading with a nice cuppa!

Although I know the store owner, I am going to give an honest review. I am giving this a 5 stars. This is because they are friendly not just to me BUT ive seen how they interact with other customers and they are open and wonderful people. They are honest people too which I like. The owner is a conversationist. If you are alone, the owner might sit with you and chat. She is part irish so there you go! They have some cool events. I never been but some of the events ive seen on facebook are really cool ideas.You don't have to get dressed up fancy to go and get a cup of tea like most places. Reasonable prices. I feel though they should charge more. I like their cookies and their sandwiches. their cookies and sandwiches are refreshing.

Felt it was mediocre. But if you love tea you should definitely give this place a try.

This place is a hidden gem. The tea is so refreshing and I always help myself to some bake goods.

Excellent spot to stop for a peaceful moment in a quaint environment! Fabulous tea selection and always a variety of pastries. What a great local gem!
