Frontier Tavern

Fries with our Reuben sandwich and hamburger orders came luke warm. Brought this to our waitress' attention who then proceeded to finger some fries on my companion's plate. I thought she was going to eat some fries! She then agreed that they were cool and hand-grabbed the fries from my companion's plate to place on her serving tray. I didn't want her hands on my plate so I quickly stood up and scrapped the fries off of my plate with a knife into her serving tray.

I wonder what would have happened if the waitress disagreed with us on the temperature of the fries? Would she have stated that they were hot enough, in her opinion, and left us to eat fries that she literally fingered????

But she did bring us fresh piping hot fries (after we had finished eating our sandwiches).

Not quite the experience I expected from a restaurant in a hotel with a 4.6 star rating!

I found the waitress' actions to be disconcerting and unhygienic which left a bad taste in our mouths, so to speak. I hope our experience was unique, never to be repeated.

Enjoy the food and Bedford Springs service. The menu is more rustic and the atmosphere is more relaxed than the other restaurants within the resort.

Stop in and had desert. It was very good. Everyone was very friendly. And the menu is small but it is good food. The prices do vary and they are kinda high but we'll worth the quality that you get.

They have a very limited menu. This is a small restaurant in the Bedford springs hotel. There is valet parking which is free. The food was very good and the atmosphere is great. The service was also very enthusiastic and attentive.

Great service,great food. They have a wonderful steak salad and off lots of gluten free options. Very kid friendly.
